|Plans have already changed|

One day before I wanted to flight to Brisbane/Australia, Timo discovered a post on Facebook about a horse farm near Sydney, where they were looking for two new grooms. And due to the fact that I was all the time so excited when I saw a horse in NZ and especially after my horse riding in Glenorchy I responded to the job offer on Facebook. So I immediately called a groom who was already working on the farm for two weeks and got much information. All in all it sounded really nice and so I spontaneously confirmed the job offer and threw over my plans about Brisbane and finally changed my flight to Sydney.

It was one of my dreams to work on a horse farm during my stay in Australia and I always heard that it’s so hard to get one of these jobs because all the girls wanna work with horses. So I was really luckily that I already got one! The first moment after the call was weird because I couldn’t believe it that I already changed my plans 😀 but on the other side I was so excited and happy that I got a chance to live my dream Actually a good start of my work and travel experience.

So the next day I eventually joined Timo to Sydney where I spent 6 days before I went to the farm, which is located about one hour from Sydney.

In Sydney, I mostly spent the time just walking around to explore some parts of the city. These days were passing so fast that I actually don’t know what I have done the whole time 😀
Following are only some impressions from Sydney:

After a few days in Sydney, I finally have to take the train from Sydney to Windsor (which is close to the farm in Ebenezer) for about an hour where the two grooms, which are already working on the farm, will pick me up from the station. So I’m really looking forward to my first job here in Australia on a farm with 26 horses. However, I’m a bit nervous as well because I’m not sure what will expect me there. So stay tuned!
